Gradito Oleodinamica srl has been on the market for years with solutions developed to develop and execute the work in the context of "GLOBAL SERVICE SOLUTION ".
The order for the dismantling of the columns at the Gela refinery in fact required the study of the harnessing system, as the columns C501 and C102 respectively 70 meters and 26 meters were without certified lifting eyebolts. The company has designed and built a slingbar equipment at its headquarters and workshop, which has been inserted transversely to the axis of each segment of the column to be handled. The columns were sectioned into segments of about 15 meters and required the use of mobile cranes such as the LR1500 with an 85 meter lattice boom, 200 ton mobile cranes, lifting platforms, baskets for people, tractors with semi-trailers and highly specialized workers, trained and trained to carry out activities at height and at night.

During the execution of the contract, the HSE team involved was constantly evolving, updating the documents and simulations from time to time in order to manage and control the risks with respect to environmental and operating conditions. The work required carrying out activities at height and during the night, thanks to the state-of-the-art equipment and constant investment in safety training and the training of workers, the set goals of zero accidents and zero injuries were achieved.
